I have a quick question I am hoping someone can answer for me. I have posted it elsewhere (AMOC), but as yet have had no response.

I have a MY 09 V8 Vantage on order and I need to take what will be my UK specification car abroad (to Germany) and want to know how easy it is to convert my headlights from RHD to LHD, is it just a case of having a dealership remove one set of lights and then replace them with another? Also does the car have two rear fog lights or will I have to have the rear fog light change sides as well?

Thanks for your assistance. Mark.

The Vantage lights have a beam blocker internally so:

remove a front wheel
take off the hatch in the front of the wheel liner
clip off the back of the headlight assy
find the small metal tag that on the side of the dipped beam lamp (can be tricky to see in the dark under the wing)
Lift the tab to push the blocker over to "mask" the dipped beam for continental driving
put it all back together again

next week, making a performance exhaust from toilet tissue tubes and sticky back plastic!!! lol

alternatively, and avoiding much swearing and dirty hands, just ask you dealer (car not drug) to flip 'em for you)
