DBS's finally seem to be getting into dealers.
Discussion
I know they are not the favourite dealer on here, but Tom Hartley has got a very nice looking DBS in at the moment.

apparently they want over £200k for it...i ordered mine last week...will be here end of sep..onyx black with graphite wheels....£164k.....these people are delusional
MUST HAVE NEW TOY NOW !!!1Not that I'm complaining, I sold my R8 for more than I paid for it, thanks to such muppetry
thats where supercar clubs....seagrave/p1 etc are useful ....they also give you the opportunity to have the cars for a w/e and see if you really can get on with them....after a couple of days with an lp640 i cancelled my order....amazing car...but i got bored of looking like stephen hawking everytime i got in or out of it.
Popped by local friendly dealer on Saturday - nice black demo on the forecourt which had just be sold for list price. Looked fantastic. Parked alongside my AMV8 roadster I felt a compelling need to leave quickly or it could have been a very expensive day - I love the AMV8 looks but somewhat over shadowed by the DBS.
Order now and new car by end of year if not sooner. Dealer sparked up the engine. What a noise. I'm a bit of a sucker for the soft top and understand the volante / roadster version won't be available to late next year.
Many will argue there are better cars on the market for less money but my heart rather than my head always rules when it comes to purchasing new toys (much to wife's despair). No doubt trade in values have softened considerably and if I were to take the plunge for a hard top DBS, I'm sure I'd lose a fortune on my 6 month Roadster. Currently mulling over how to sell the idea to the boss!

take another look at the website......priced at 219k!!!!...these people are insane...
Is this a joke, who is going to pay that? Don't forget the £950.I'd like to know how much they paid for it.
I can't believe they can possibly think of charging that much condidering you've got to wait 3 months for yours, dh1 and your paying £164,000. Thats £56,000 difference, you could buy a vantage with that.

exactly...surely it doesnt matter how rich you are ..56k is 56k...ok..it may just be another watch or a decent suit to some..but still!!...sunday times had one for 175k
Yep I noticed the one in The Sunday Times, can't understand how Tom Hartley thinks he is going to sell it, I thought the most people were paying was around £180,000. Be intersting to see how it compares to the Vanquish S, as I see you had one in your profile.I'd be torn between a Vanq S with the works treatment and a DBS if I had the dosh. The DBS is a stunning car in real life, lighter, has apparently the best carbon ceramics of any car, great interior... but the Vanquish has more character, is a bit more old school and appeals to me on a different level. Wonder if works would fit the carbon ceramics to it? Wonder how hard that'd be...
I plan on having both, In fact I wrote a list of all the cars I wanted and seven of them were Aston Martins. I think the Vanquish S with Carbon Ceramic breaks and with a manual gearbox would be a fantastic car. But overall I think the DBS is probably a better car, especially if it is an onyx black DBS

i think alot of people prefer the looks of the vanquish....it was/is a beautiful car....i absolutely loved it...but had alot of problems with it...having now driven the 599 and 430..the gearbox in the vanquish is rubbish compared to the ferraris...the thought of a manual gearshift and really excellent ceramic brakes will make the DBS much easier to live with and ultimately a more enjoyable way to use all that lovely power...and yes it doesnt look as good as the vanquish..but as we all know looks fade..its whats on the inside that counts.
