Cleaning the Engine and Bay

Hi Guys

The engine and bay on my AMV8 is getting rather dirty. Any suggestions on cleaning it? Jetwash? I have done this on other cars and had no issues if you dont get the lance to close the electic connections.

Spray some autoglym engine and machine cleaner liberally over it all and agitate witha soft cloth. Try and avoid areas that are already greased for lubircation though....

Rinse witha free flowing hose rather than a pressure wash- you are less likely to force water into places it shouldn't be...

If you like the shiny look, spray some silicone based dressing like AG tyre-shine on it all then run the engine to dry it off so it doesn't get spotty.
