I was at an Aston Martin Owners Club event in California this past weekend. ESX Motorsports was there with a supercharged V8Vantage that was a complete bolt-on kit. It still has to be dyno-tested and tuned but is expected to put out around 500 hp. This is embarassing to admit, but I've no idea how to post the picture here, so if someone can inform this computer-challenged person how to post a picture, I will, or in the alternative give me an e-mail address that I can send the picture to for posting. The sound on this car is great. The expected cost of the kit will be around $25k-30k, I believe.

Just sent you an email... I'll post a link to it...

Did they talk about warranties etc. I might be interested but only if they extend the warranty on the parts of the car affected.

Please post!
If you have anymore details I'd love to hear them. Been thinking about Cat, Exhaust, ECU Map upgrades for a while, but a blower would be awesome!

Looks very interesting, looks a similar set up for aftermarket corvette supercharged v8's. Either way looks like good fun.

Does look like fun. But also looks like it'd make general servicing a nightmare...?

It does look an interesting kit, would like to see how the $25-30K US price is in GBP £ once it has a distributor over here.........

Hi everyone,

This is my first time on these forums, so please excuse my rookie behavior.
My name is Ali Afshar and I'm the president and founder of Easy Street Motorsports (aka ESX).
The car pictured above is our first (#001) supercharged and intercooled Aston Martin, that we refer to as the "ESX Super Vantage".
We have been developing this set up for months now and are almost ready to announce it to the public.
We are planning to officially reveal the car here in Southern California mid May. It shall be on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas as well as the LA Auto Show later this year.

ESX has been around the performance and racing scene in California for both track and street cars since the late 1980's. We have been the official Subaru of America racing team from 2001 thru 2007. We have build special edition cars called ESX/STI's via Subaru dealerships in the United States for years and recently announced our ESX/EVO X. We have numerous National Championships in Drag, Road and Rally racing here in the States. This year we have expanded our line up to include Aston Martin as well as the Mitsubishi EVO X. It's an odd mix, I know, but these are all cars I personally own and love. I also own a Ferrari red Aston Martin DB9 Volante.

Please feel free to visit www.ESXmotorsports.com for more information about our company.
Or visit www.youtube.com and search for the "easystreetsti" channel and watch some video's of our cars and such.

The ESX Super Vantage will be available as a complete vehicle and as a direct bolt on kit for enthusiasts whom already own a Vantage.
We are currently working on developing a warranty standard, which will most likely cover all enhanced parts and their directly effected running gear.
Similar to what we have done for Subaru of America in the past. ESX prides itself on building true "Street" cars. Cars you can enjoy with tremendous performance yet be safe and durable. The car currently has been tested with over 2000 miles on it from street and dyno's, however the final tuning will be done as mentioned in the original post of this thread, in the next few weeks. We have a horsepower goal in mind, but to not spoil it, I will wait until all dyno testing is complete and to our satisfaction before I go around saying numbers.

My personal email is Ali@esxmotorsports.com
Please feel free to email me any questions. Also, if you want to be on our email list. We usually offer contests for drivers, give away cars, etc.

We have a great Aston Martin Track Day lined up for July 1st, 2008 at California Speedway. Please visit our site and check out the March 11, 2008 Aston Martin Track day that just passed. There are video's and pictures in the "ESX News" section of our home page. Approx. 40 Astons showed up last time.

Thanks again and I look forward to speaking with some of you shortly!

Sincerely,

Ali Afshar

The stock fuel pump doesn't seem capable of supporting 500HP and the clutch certainly can't. Are you adding another fuel pump? Bigger injectors or intake plenum injector? Stronger clutch? reprogramming the ECU or piggyback ECU?

I am very interested and copied the picture to http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?...

You may want to reply there as well.

Thanks for the information about the other site.

Yes, we will be determining all factors, including fuel deliver (injectors & pumps), as well as the transmission & clutch (both for manual and sport shift), axles, and complete ecu tuning for the engine as well as the sport shift transmission as well.

Within the next few weeks we will determine what are the safe levels for a direct bolt on kit utilizing most of the factory components.

All the performance figures, in detail, will be also displayed when completed.

Thanks

Ali

Thank you for your interest in our ESX Super Vantage.

The kit will work on the Sport Shift as ESX Super Vantage #001 is my own personal car and it is equipped with the Sport Shift.

The ESX Super Vantage and the supercharger kit will be available for orders next Tuesday, July 1st as it debuts at our ESX Aston Martin Track Day at California Speedway.

Price w/out exhaust modifications will be approximately $22,400 installed and dyno-tested.
There are some options, (boost guage w/ carbon fiber mount, shift light, hi flow cats, etc.) available that will change pricing, but that will be determined upon final order details.

The California Air Resource Board certification shall be started with the package around July 25th, 2008 and we're expected to have if finalized by the end of August.

Thank you again and please let us know if you have any more questions.

We would be more then willing to offer ESX Super Vantage #001 for you to see and take a test drive.

You can view this dyno sheet at:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/24603552@N02/

Our tests show the base vehicle producing 308 wheel horsepower and 472 wheel horsepower after and 242 torque 342 after.

Sincerely,

How much is the kit without fitting? obviously over here in the UK we will have to arrange this ourselves smile

Also, how much does the kit weigh, in its packaging? ...im just wondering if I can fit it in my luggage on my next quarterly visit to the US smile

What is needed for the mapping? software to do the factory ECU or are you running a piggyback?

Do you have any plans for UK distributors, and if so can they please keep the price down to about what it is now - £11K ish fittedwink

HI Bogie,

Please feel free to contact me directly via email at ali@esxmotorsports.com and I will get back to you asap.

I sometime do not get a chance to look at the forums frequently.

We currently are arranging installation/dealers in the UK but have not yet confirmed.

Our technicians can easily fly out and do the fitment locally at your local garage. Assuming you have one you work with.

With respect to the ECU, we do both remapping of certain fields as well as run an external computer.

Pricing should remain the same.

We do not have a total weight for the kit, however I could try and get that for you.

Thanks and let me know if you need anything else.

We would like to personally tune the car in the UK, just to make sure it's perfect with the fuel available to you locally.

Sincerely,

Ali Afshar
