I think my car is in the seventies- my dealer indicated that October was likely.... we'll see.
What presentation? When I specced my car at the factory it was indicated that there was some sort of event lined up, but I've heard nothing since- have I missed out on a trip? I'll be pretty upset if I have.
I've chosen a lightish metallic green (not sure of the name, got it on the order somewhere), and the chocolate leather as per the prototype. What are your choices?

Mine's Aston Martin racing green - probably the same colour as yours - and the brown interior too.
I never heard any more about the promised trip to Italy - it vanished into the ether obviously, but at least it looks like we didn't miss anything...! Have you seen the article in Top Gear this month? A great writeup although I'd like to have heard more about how different (if at much all) it handles and goes to the DB7.
Have you any other Aston Martins (Or Zagato cars)? I had a V8 Zagato which was brilliant (if a little brittle) but now have a Supercharged V8 (one of the last and which I hope will go with me to the grave). I've always wanted an Alfa SZ too but so far haven't managed it.

I've just heard that my car is being started this week and have booked in to see it on the production line in about a month- although how far they'll have got with it is anybody's guess as it was indicated that their industrial dispute was 'ongoing'. I too thought the Top Gear article a bit light on driving impressions as I'm keen to know what to expect- hopefully the other (rather better quality) magazines like EVO will enlighten us. I thought the car looked surprisingly good in a dark colour though and am now worried that I've picked the wrong paint (no going back though!).
This will be my first Aston although my business partner has a V8 Volante (not my cup of tea). Interesting you mentioned the SZ as I've had mine for about a year now!

Thought you might be interested: last month the factory at gaydon opened its doors to AMOC members.
they had quite a few Zagato bodies in there- assembled in Italy, the "bodies in white" were taken to Gaydon to be painted (thus the first production cars to be painted at gaydon) and then assembled at Bloxham. I took quite a few pictures of the cars, and they look great., Interestingly, they were made the old fashioned way (like the old V8), and not like the DB7 or new DB9 at all.
I would be interested in seeing how much they weigh.

Did you get your model? What dealership are you getting yours through?

Yeh dropped it and wing mirrors fell off but it looks better without them. Ordered with Paramount Cardiff but actually placed order with Claire at the factory. I have experienced and heard many horror stories about dealer servicing so won't go there. My local dealer is Lancaster Reading nuff said. Always have the factory at Newport P pick up and deal with my cars. Great bunch of people, Kevin Moor is your man.
