Hi guys, I've just popped in to say "Hi", as Dad has finally bought himself an Aston, after years of wanting after one!

The car's a 2005 Aston Martin DB9 Volante bouncebouncebounce
It is presented in Celeste Blue with Sandstorm leather and Caspian Blue carpets for the interior. It's a bit different, but certainly looks fantastic, IMO smile
The car was purchased from Dick Lovett Ferrari in Cardiff, and my parents have reported that they were a real pleasure to deal with, so they recommend them! thumbup

I've taken a few photos already, after the parents arrived home with it yesterday. Having driven from Cardiff, it is a little dirty, but I'll give her a good clean when the weather's good again! smile

Lovely car, however, a couple of points.

First off, you meant to say "my dad" rather than "dad" which alone implies a rather presumptive and dare I wager, self absorbed yet clearly inapropriate collective thinking which would be a truly remarkable case of reanimation from my perspective since the person in question is in fact (a) dead and in any case (b) were he to re-emerge, Lazarus stylee, resplendent with sufficient chuck to roll up in an Aston rather than a sort of mid 70s middle management heap like a Chrysler Alpine (GL, ntach) I'd be staggered.

Second. Are you in fact, members of seminal songsmiths, 'McFly?'

I may be wrong here (and out of order perhaps) but the guy in the blue shirt seems to be err... more interested in the blonde lady than the car. Y'know what, I really can't blame him though...tongue out

Which one is you?...and if one of those guys is your father, was he out of short trousers when you were conceived?

Oh - nice car, by the way...lick

Lovely car, Very nice, well chosen pictures. Good to see someone appreciating what they have got. And I have to respect someone who removes their shoes before getting in the Aston.

The colour scheme is stunning, one of the best.

'Worst my dad is rich' thread ever... it's not the poster's own car and his dad doesn't even appear in the pictures
Not really.

Its a car forum, and he has posted some nice personal pics of a very nice car.

Theres many very well off people on this forum, I think everyone is grown up enough to respect what people have done to earn these cars.

I was being a bit tongue and cheek - which may not have come across.. I know I wouldn't let 'my son'
play about in my new DB9 if I had one.. that's more what I meant
Eh? You wouldnt let your son sit in the car and take pictures of it?? Are you hitler?

My father owned a succession of nice cars. And a Metro.

Without that influence who knows whether I would have developed the (unhealthy) interest in acquiring cars that I have now.

Anyway, where are more pix of the blonde (female, natch) wink

Why don't you piss off to some other site where stupid comments like that are welcome.
