Aston V12 RS Is Go
Report: Dr Bez confirms both RS and DBS Volante
Aston Martin has confirmed that the V12 Vantage RS will be built, it has been reported.
According to Dutch car mag Autovisie CEO Dr Ulrich Bez has revealed that the RS will see a limited production run, although it is not clear how limted that run will be.
The RS will get a 600bhp version of Aston’s 6.0 litre V12 powerplant and the car’s body will be mostly made from carbon fibre.
The V12 Vantage RS is expected to go on sale in 2009.
Also according to Autovisie, Dr Bez has confirmed that the company will soon launch a convertible version of the new DBS coupe and this will be available mid-2009.

Kahn wheels are a big put off. Why put the racecar engine in a car with wheels just designed to look flash on a Rangey 'cruzin' London. Why not some ultra lightweight race wheels, like the OzRacings on the DBR9?
I imagine it's designed to appeal more to the American & Middle East market where bling is a more important selling feature to their customer base. The good thing about Aston Martin is if you have the requisite dosh then you can just ask them to build you a more tasteful version.

I have a spare Kidney if anyone is willing
To be honest these days you'd be lucky to even get enough for your kidney to buy shed of the week. Too much competition from the third world.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
