Ipod

I've been reading the lastest brochure for the AMV8 and it say's that it has a Ipod/usb connector.
Is this in the 2007 model cars and if so where is it?

If not has anyone retro fitted an ipod connector.

It is standard factory fit in 2008, along with new phone etc. Be careful if you do a retro fit.

Yep premium audio in the V8 is awesome

Do be wary though of the Ipod connectors. Much like Sat Nav systems, some are brilliant but some are woeful. In my Lotus (admittedly a very different company) the Ipod control is so poor that I simply don't use it now.

The problem is that you connect the ipod and then control it through the headunit. So you have a totally new interface to control something you already know how to control. As I say - some are great, but some are frustratingly poor so simply "watch out"

Only way is the tuner route which is crap.
