Would you buy this DB9?
Discussion
May be buying a used DB9 soon and was interested in any views on this car:

How much would the interior put people off at on-sell? Is it good or bad to have only done 4400 miles since new in 2004?
What are the "must have" extras and does this car have them?
Many thanks,
Gixxer

Don't be worried about people being put off when selling on. If you are prepared to buy it, so will be someone else. And besides, silver Aston Martins with red interiors are dreamy.http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/365804.htm

I think that some research into the cars history would be a good start. It appears that the mileage is very small BUT this could be understandable depending on the owner. When the DB7 Vantage came out i remember seeing some with a similar amount of miles on them and a close friend of mine purchased one. It turned out that the owner only ever used it in the summer when it wasn't raining, hence the low miles.
The odd interior colour is a good sign as it probably hasn't been used as a demonstrator or a hire car as it is not a common spec. I have found that when people order odd combinations these cars are usually cared for the best as resale value has not been considered. Hence its low price.

That looks great! Red interiors are always more lurid in photographs for some reason. I had long term loan of a DB9 with a nearly identical colour combination, and it was lovely. The CF interior is better than the usual Ikea stuff too. I don't know if this is a good price or not though.

what does "CF interior" mean 456mgt?I thinks this colour combo is great, and if this car is still around when I am ready to buy in a few weeks then I'll be checking it out for sure.

way overpriced ive just been looking at 06 plate db9s ata a main dealer for 86K and they had the new seats and all mod cons like front park sensors etc ...even with only 4k miles this is only worth 65 k tops ....
I'd say it's a little overpriced, but £65k, I just can't see it. I'd happily pay that for it, but noone is selling a 4000 mile DB9 for that money. This looks like a private autotrader ad for the same carhttp://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/ASTO...
£72,500 no offers.
I think £70k is the right price.

sorry to disagrea agian but its an 04 early car with all the early build problems , look further afield laddy as there are far better deals out there !
If you spot an 04 DB9 with 4000 miles and a good spec for £65k please let me know russ. I haven't seen any.Cheapest DB9 on autotrader is:
- £67,995 with 10,200 miles
- £67,995 with 10,500 miles
- £69,895 with 23,000 miles
- £69,945 with 31,000 miles
the cheapest car with only 4,000 miles is the one we are discussing at £72,500
Aston Martin approved pre-owned has:
- £66,995 with 48,000 miles
- £67,950 with 19,800 miles
- £67,995 with 36,000 miles
and that's without comparing specs (the £72,500 car has a pretty good spec as far as I can see).
I'd love to pay £65k for that car (or one with similar spec and mileage) but I'm just not seeing any out there.
Cheers,
