If you cant appreicta ean Aston, you'd be better off with a Caterham instead of both.

Indeed it's odd to compare an out of production shopping rocket to the v8. As a pure driving machine, the integra is a lot of fun and handles superbly - if you care not for anything else then it is excellent value.

I own both a v8 and a shopping civic type-r. The latter does have it's merits on crowded london roads - it's lower weight does make it more nimble than the aston at low speed, and its engine does feel more responsive. However given the opportunity I'd take the aston out......

I thought this was a joke ? you compare an £8K used car to an £80K one ...if you can afford the latter and want the other, then just buy it as a track toy as you can obviously afford it wink

I thought he might mean an AMV8 (http://www.astonmartins.com/v8/v8s2.htm) from the 70's which would have at least had about the same price point.

It is one of the odder questions posed. A bit like asking what would you rather have: a tree or a cat. Both nice to have but not really comparable at any level. the NSX on the other hand...

Robcopas - surely you already know the answer, after all on the Porsche forum recently when somebody asked for thoughts on whether to go for a 997S or AMV8 you recommended the Honda!! Now back to your homework there's a good lad.
