Hi guys.

Have that 'AM ITCH' and need some help from AM Owners ... please
What is the space in the rear like in a DB7, DB9 & Vanquish compared to each other and anyone who has owned a 996TT - how does it compare?
Love the look of the D7 front, the DB9 Rear end and the presence of the Vanquish (maybe that's not too uncommon)

I know its going to be tight (as with the Porker) ... but she can't quite talk yet (just 1) so as long as she'll 'go in' it's ok ... as long as I change quick before she can say 'it's too small dad'!!

The Vanquish will do it - but only just. The trouble with child seats is that they put the childs legs out straight - which gives you less room. 2 adults and 2 kids in an Aston doesn't work for journeys of more that 20 minutes.

DB9 and DB7 too. I think the DB7 has the most room in the vack of the three.

I was also contemplating a slightly soiled DB9 over a new 911, but speace in the back is also key. Our 4 month old is currently in a rear facing seat (which I know won't fit in either) but will a normal forward facing seat fit in a few months time? We are both quite tall, so do not want to have the front seats pushed forward. There was mention of a britax seat that might fit in a DB9, but I can't be alone in wanting to squeeze a baby in the back?

I have had a forward facing seat in the back of my DB9. Long time ago though. Would have to have the front seat a bit forward and the little tyke will need legs crossed, IIRC. Had a 993 and Porkers made a special front facing seat for that. Ask an Aston dealer.

I'm 6'2" and 17 stone (a feckin athlete before you ask) and when my kids were 7 and 3 the Vanquish was a major squeeze with them in the back. My knees were on the dash.

I also had an XKR and that was the same....

As a daily driver, if you're a big(ish) fellow, I think children in the back is extremely difficult - particularly in child seats (which push their legs out straight. However for a weekend car and kids in rarely, it's sort of OK - but with much protest from everyone.

The Bentley on the other hand.... smile
