I can buy a '04 DB7 VOL TT, It was bought 18 months ago from Lancasters by a friend, when it had 6k miles on it for £67k. It was serviced every 6 months from new until then. Since then it has only had one service at 21k 18 months later, although serviced by a well known specialist. The colour combo is skye with charcol, it can be bought sensibly £45k ish. I normally only keep my cars for about a year. My questions are the colour and will it be saleable in a year with 30k on it and with the gap in the book. Some say 1 yr intervals are ok some don't. Should I buy it.

Get and Aston Specialist to look at it or give advice like http://www.chilternaston.co.uk/. Not sure if these guys could help you but I think they work mostly with DB7's, they have some lovely cars for sale.

I would be most worried about that mileage without an oil change. There are plenty of cars out there

It will come to me serviced if I buy it with all faults rectified by a reputable specialists, not really worried about that. But what I am is, will I able to move this on in a years time.

From what you have said it has done 15k miles without an oil change, it should be changed every 7.5k miles. I wouldn't buy it.
