Just thought I'd mentioned quickly that I've stuck my toe in the dark side again and added an M6 convertible to my fleet. It's replacing an E46 M3 as my daily for summer. Fantastically capable car as a daily, and a sporty GT of epic proportions, especially given it's price, but it sure can't match an Aston for character, specialness and driver involvement!

I hope they deprecitate less in SA than they do over here in the UK. Certainly a lovely car though. You may also want to take a peek at m6board.com :-)

Ah, they depreciate like stones here. I took the smart option, and bought one with 1000km on from BMW Fleet (it was a display car). To give you an idea, fully loaded it would retail at around R1.3m - R1.4m, I picked it up for R990k in brand new condition. It's a steal and a performance bargain if you ask me! wink

Thought by looking at the thread title that you'd replaced your lovely Vantage for one! Phew.. lovely cars the M-series however!

Wouldn't dream of it! The M6 is like riding a mattress around compared to the go-kart Vantage biggrin
