back in the fold!

well, it looks like i will be lurking around the AM forum again! an uncle of mine (ex 3.2 DB7 owner) has got himself back into another Aston. with this!,





a rather stunning Met Silver (suspect it maybe Solent Silver, same as previous DB7) 2003 Vanquish. i shall be spending a bit of time with the car hopefully early next week where better pictures will be taken so watch this space!

had the opportunity to take some better pics of the car today, here they are













whilst taking these pics, my uncles business associate turned up in his rather lovely V8 Vantage, so i was able to take some pics of both these beauties together!,









can't be too many works car parks as good as this!

Puts it into perspective seeing both cars together... Lovely as the V8V is, it's not a patch on the Vanquish in terms of looks or presence.

Warren182, both these cars are based in Cambs, but they do tend to do a bit of travelling to business functions etc here and there so you may well have seen it!
my uncle took us for a blast in the Vanquish the other day, truly awesome machine, for such a big old brute it really shouldn't go as well as it does and as for the noise....

Ah, ok. That prob explains it. Has the Vantage owner removed the exhaust fuse? Did that for my old man, sounds fantastic.

TBH i'm not sure if he's fuse 22'd it yet or had any other exhaust/valve mod, it is loud, but not overly loud all the time (well not up to Vanquish levels any way!)
i'll try and find out anyway
