Having spotted this AMV8 this morning it got me thinking would this be a viable project or not?

How much would it cost to put back on the road and come resale would it be worth it?

Is the car a write off?? It looks like the damaged side has substantially screwed up the front wing, wheel arch and I guess that the wheel being torn off has killed the suspension. I think that the new front wing is £3k, new suspension I don't know. I guess a good mechanic with the correct kit can repair it. I believe that all of the resins/glues used in the AM V8 mean it's complicated to repair substantial body damage.

I see two downsides:

I would think you'll find it hard to get an insurer to cover a total lose premium vehicle without a substantial premium.

Who wants to buy a repaired write off. Maybe I'm just a coward, but one drives the car at the speeds it's capable of then one wants to know that all the nuts and bolts will stay in the right place. Buy it for yourself but I cannot see many buyers for a repaired AMV8.
