Renting a V8 - UK or Switzerland

I live down under in OZ and there aint a hope in hell of getting a drive. I am considering a roadster if the budget will push that far..
I travel into the UK and Switzerland , anyone know where I Can get a good rental for a day or more to give one of these puppys a try. I dont want to flog it to death or anything just get a real feel.

I am just concerned taking one of these cars from a small shop and becoming their repairs budget because of all the stories I have heard of getting stung and loosing a deposit.

Any ideas on pricing..the best I have been offered is like 2k GBP..Seems steep

I have used Elite in Geneva a few years ago - good service - will meet you at the airport etc. They also have quite a selection of decent machinery.

Why not do the Aston Martin Performance Driving course - about £1.5k and you get one-to-one tuition, access to several different tracks, lunch and afternoon tea.

Do you have any info where this is hosted? Is it run by the factory? Sound very interesting...Thanks for any advice

Run by the Factory. In the UK it is hosted at Millbrook - the testing facility. The Alpine course is where the DBS rolled in Casino Royale.
