Hi all,

I'm currently looking for a compatible infant safety seat for our baby! I've had a look at the V8 Vantage manual and the only one listed is the Britax Cosi-Tot. Unfortunately, the aforementioned seat restricts our choice of buggies...

Have any of you managed to successfully fit the Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix (ISOFIX) or other brands of car seat?

Hi

Yep the Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix (ISOFIX) fits fine.

The only thing to watch is the ISOFIX front bar (the bar that stops the seat from coming forward) on some seats it is too long and the base does not fit OK. Our baby is now bigger and she has a Bebeconfort Iseos Isofix and that fits even better, as there is no front bar and is only a top tether. Also get a seat protector and watch the leather when lifting the seat in and out, mainly on the door.

As far as buggies is concerned, for carrying in the Aston get a Quinny Zapp, it is tiny and fits the Maxi-Cosi seat. It is not very sturdy so for sturdy use get a Quinny Buzz or a Bug-a-boo, both can take the Maxi-Cosi Seats.

Does your wife cycle along behind?

Well there is this white tag in the boot showing a stick figure hopping out of the rear - I presume I can store her in the boot, as I can't see any other reasaon for having a door handle in there....
