That's probably because the removal of fuse 22 is for the AMV8, fuse 22 in a Vanquish could be anything ?

Probably something to do with the emissions system wink

Assuming you are talking about Fuse 22 in the boot (trunk).......Somebody else did this a while back and it actually makes the system close the valves on a Vanquish - so not quite the desired effect !! Replace fuse and go to the dealer to get your computer/warning lights sorted.

As far as I'm aware, the Vanquish needs the vacuum hoses plugged on each side rather than a fuse taken out. That's what I had done to mine - no fuses were involved.

If you have an OBD II scanner, you should be able to put the fuse back and reset. Alternatively you need to go back to your dealer and tell them the fuse, sort of, fell out! Hopefully no warranty issues will be ignited.

Sorry it is a VANTAGE, not Vanquish (it was a very long day yesterday). Has anyone gotten the message "emission system needs service" after taking out fuse 22.

Nope - mines fine - does the warning remain if you replace the fuse - and can you confirm you removed the one from the boot (trunk) and no-where else?
