Hi all.Anybody know or got any advise on how to cut the sill and lower wings off a DB6 and fit new inner members. Or better still some pictures of this being done.Not doing it myself, but have been asked the question.

I suggest you try R S Williams, see www.rswilliams.co.uk as I believe them to be one of the top Aston specialists in the country (if not the top one).

I would recommend a call to Rikki Cann on 01702 291818. He did exactly this job on my fathers DB4 Vantage (I'm sure the construction is the same on a DB6) Speak directly to Rikki, he's a genuine chap who I'm sure will help. He only does Astons but doesn't charge RS Williams prices......

RS Williams are very good. They are also very expensive (the factory use them occasionally!)

There are many specialists around. For SE London I would recommend Pugsley and Lewis (www.pugsleyandlewis.co.uk)
