Saw a stunning Virage 6.3 Litre for sale today
Discussion
Hi there,
Happened to be in Sheffield earlier today and drove past Europa Prestige, they usually have some interesting bits and bobs for sale in there but this one was a bit special.
http://www.europaprestige.co.uk/detail?template=/e...
Its a 1990 Aston Martin Virage that was sent back to the factory in 1996 for a complete overhaul. It left the factory with the 6.3 Litre upgrade and a respray amongst other things.
Looks a stunning car and is very wide.
I am not connected to the dealer at all, just thought I would share this interesting find with you.
Regards
Tim

Very nice. I love the 6.3 litre version of the Virage, although in my opinion it needs the rear spoiler to match the wider wheelarches.
If I sold mine, I would buy this one:

A Virage with a 7 litre conversion by RS Williams. For £38k. One very, very rapid motocar

Yeah - that 7 litre is definitely a keeper. I know that by any objective standards the VH-platform Astons are superior to the DB V8 platform, but there's definitely DB 6-cylinder DNA flowing through the fuel lines of the Virage. Despite the fact that some of the DB Astons were on ocassion more "home-made" than "hand-built" there's something quintessentially "Savile Row" about them compared to the VH Astons "Selfridges-High Street!" I love those old dinosaurs - they're pure aristocrats in a way the later cars (with the possible exception of the Vanquish)just aren't. Their imperfections are part of their character. Their flaws are what ties them to the hands of the craftsmen who painstaking built them. They belong to a bygone era & are all the more special for it! Exquisite! In a world full of mass produced, hewavily marketed, technologically improved everything - there's place for quiet, unruffled, undating, old-world class!
