DBS Details released...

0-62mph 4.3 and 191 top speed.

I was expecting a little more than 510bhp though, looks like they don't want to tread on the toes of the Vanquish S which is a shame

The press release says 160k +/- 5%.

Price will be below the base Vanquish 2+0 price. Not sure where I stand on the DBS, it somehow makes the Vanquish appear even more special, making one long for the arrival of the true top-line V12 Aston Martin.

I don't know what sources you have seen, but, I have the Aston Martin press release that came out today right in front of me.

It says the price is £160k +/- 5%.

Well, thats a further £30k out of my reach then. Bugger. As for the Vanquish looking better, I take it that you have downloaded the brochure and watched the video kindly provided by Aston to rub salt in the wounds of people like me. I'm normally a Porsche man, with a soft spot for Jags and an appreciation for other stuff, but this is a seriously, seriously nice car. I'm not feeling very well.

Pricing might well be different in Europe than UK (as usually the case).

I cant believe it'll only be £130k, £160k does sound more likely.

Doubt very much that Aston would charge £30k less for the car in Europe, that would be UK dealer suicide. If the Aston press release says £160 +/- 5% than thats what it will be, I think they might have a bit of inside info on this one

In fact the news page of this very site said the following....

I have found in the past that the "worldcarfans" site is often very out with its "official details". I've seen that site quote message board posts in the past as fact (posts that were probably made by a 12yr old American kid sitting in his bedroom making stuff up).
