V8 Vantage Insurance
Discussion
I'm with A-Plan (who advertise in this forum). They were the cheapest for me and seem to provide good service.
The only problem is they don't recognise my Roadster, so its insured as a Vantage Coupe with a letter from the underwriters stating they really know its a Roadster and not a coupe.
Plus point is that it does not cost any more than my old Coupe
Anyway, I digressed

Thanks guys, I was with A-Plan for my Mazzer so helpful to test what is out there as an alternative

Edited to say that if anyone else is looking to insure for first time or renew the best deal I got was with Norwich Union through Academy Insurance, all the firms were using NU but Acedemy had a discount deal that made them £300 cheaper on the premium and with a £250 excess.
Edited again to say that amazingly the V8 is cheaper for me to insure than a 3200 Maserati that is 1/3 the value of the Aston. Happy days.

I have only good to say about AON Automotive...speak to Paul Bothamley on 01483 706058.
And as some kind of balance, I've never, ever, had a good quote from them.Perhaps they don't like my accent/weight/postcode/cars/health/driving record/cut of my jib. Have challenged them many times to call me, but no dice.

sorry to rain on your parade Murph, but Aon own Footman James.. sad but true.
End of day, if FJs are good for you, then thats what matters.
This may be the case, but AON's quote was still crap compared to Footman James'.End of day, if FJs are good for you, then thats what matters.
I believe at the moment they are still running separate books.
Go figure.
