AM V8 BOOT OPENING

Hi Just got a AM V8 the only way i appear to be able to open the boot is via the switch inside,the little button the boot lid does nothing as does the remote ! is the some way to activate these thanks.

Hi, the boot button on the tailgate should reliese the boot, but the remote button will only allow the lid button to work when the car is locked. the indicators will flash when the remote button is pressed, just remember to re-press the lock button again, otherwise your boot stays unlocked. there is also an emergency pull inside the boot compartment.

Press the boot release button on the remote twice to pop the tailgate. The car doesn't need to be locked. If that doesn't work I think there's a fault on your car.

Was the fob release only started on the 07 cars? Seem to recall something along those lines.

Have you pressed the boot nipple twice?
