AMV8 Lights - Switch off automatic?

Quick answer someone. Wife just got to airport and through to duty free and cannot remember turning lights off. She cannot remember any bleeping either. Do they turn off automatically when ignition turned off and leaving car. I think they do - hope so !!!!!!!!!!
