DBS

I was on a tour today of the Gaydon factory and saw a full production spec DBS, already registered on an 07 plate, sat in the dealer training bay ready for the dealers to go and learn about the car.

I was told production starts in full at the end of the year October/November time.
Was told the BHP would be Vanquish S plus.

Looked rather nice, shame they are all sold

The DBS isn't limited edition, AFAIK. Was going to be only 300 but that idea was scrapped - it will be a regular model.

Chap from Aston told me that they were only making 300 in total on the same line as the DB9, but that of course may not be the whole truth.

Hope you are right (but I fear that the chap was telling porkies), as I have one of the 300 on order.

I was told today by my dealer that they would be readily available with little or no wait.

Try and get a straight answer out of Aston about the DBS. Then go and ask another person.

If anybody gets the same answer from 2 or 3 different ppl would they mind telling the rest of us? Ive given up asking now Its either different answers or a simple (but honest) shrug of the shoulders and "we honestly dont know, Aston havent told us anything".
