Blimey you haven't even got her yet & you are worrying about "niggles", all new cars have issues, just enjoy one of the most stunning looking cars out there, a superb ownership experience & a great drive.
I'd leave the fuse in at first & settle into the car, pop it out a few months down the line it will add to the fun of ownership!
Congrats.
P.S.
What was a good deal???

Yes, leave the fuse for a few months then when you're used to the car it'll be a free 'enhancement' which will add a new dimmension to the car. Personaly I'd never remove it. I like the fact that you can cruise around quietly (reletively) until 4000rpm - or is it 4,500, I forget - at which point the exhuast appears to drop off! But then, just like Grant, I'm a bit of an old smoothy.smile

Fuse 22 should be taken out immediately and stamped on.

ETA (OK... maybe kept back to re-insert for yearly services)

hi ive had my V8V for 8 months and i had the fuse straight out it does sound fab

would be interested to know what good deals are beeing done on new cars as my aston dealer has 2 or 3 new cars available now

il be honest i love the car but its been back to the dealers about 15 times for small niggles nowt serious but just small niggles good job the dealer is only 5 mins away

also i was just bid by the trade on my car as i was thinkning of a replacement however i was bid very low 60 s my car is a full spec dec 05 with 9 k miles, ( 91 k new)the reason for the low bid is apparently the trade have lost confidence in the marque since it beed sold ( personally think its boocks ) but why the huge drop?? any ideas

I was talking to my dealer last week (so maybe some salt needed), but he was saying that the V8V took a huge initial hit as so many speculators bought the car to sell at a profit, but with no money to be made they all sold at list or below. However, Aston have apparently stopped production of the coupe (rag top in full flow), and if you order a new one now, you're looking at next spring. This should at least firm up prices - possibly even see a slight rise.
