Order Aston parts on the web

The Aston Workshop launches new online parts shop

The Aston Workshop in County Durham, England, has launched astonparts.com, an e-commerce site which works alongside its website www.aston.co.uk.  Aston owners can now purchase any part online for most Aston Martin models from the DB2 to the DB7.

The site stocks a number of previously unavailable items, with some of these parts being specially manufactured by the original supplier where possible. The Workshop is also able to arrange manufacture of special order parts according to the original specifications. All parts stocked are genuine Aston Martin items unless otherwise indicated and can be shipped anywhere in the world.

You can search for parts either by using the part number or the model and system type. High demand parts are listed by image to avoid confusion and help recognition. The Workshop aims to expand the database so that eventually all parts are catalogued with an image.

The Aston Workshop also opened a £500,000 state of the art paint and body centre last month. The company claims that the 20,000 square feet, 18 bay facility has the latest technology and equipment to restore and repair any Aston Martin to the highest standard.

So if you’ve got issues with your DB5's intake manifold (oh, how we wish we could say that), try logging onto the link given below…

Is it me, or is that both a rip-off and hideously ugly?

The photos on many of their items are exactly the same as AM Factory brochures, especially all of the accessories (although these people are not factory sanctioned in any way). That interesting copyright issue aside, at those prices I would be much happier going direct to AM.
