Noticed a few posts lately whereby a bit of initial clarification might help...

Might be worth stating in any posts about cars which version of a car we mean. Aston being somewhat economical in the use of names (hoorah! Who needs loads of complicated numbers or trying to think up 'V' names!), a bit of additional info (perhaps the year, or size of one's manhood) might be a good idea to help helpers out.

Was going to post this yesterday but thought it might just be me. Having just seen that one guy has posted how to change every pulley on his V12 to cure a squeak problem on a V8 Vantage (2005-), perhaps it's not.

PS not that this isn't good info for V12 owners, but I doubt they'll find it before getting bored of reading through Satnav, iPod connections, bluetooth, fuel tank cap, squealing brakes or seats that give back ache issues first.

PPS Unless changing said pullies helps any of the above - if so, my spanners are out.

It's worse than that, it could be a DB4, AM, V8 (two different types), DB7 or the latest AMV8 Vantage that is being referred to. silly nerd
