it was on sale for £81.5 on Friday, the price has dropped.
if i went for it would i get right royally spanked for the colour combo come trade in time? do you think it's realistically priced? anyone had dealing with this dealer?
thanks in advance...

For 75,000 (a good 4,500 quid less than that car), you could get this:
http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/
2007 spec car with just 800 miles on the clock.
or another 495 quid gets you this 2007 spec car in black:
http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/
.. or if you're prepared to get a car that's just 6 months older than that, you could save 10K on the car you're interested in with the same interior:

does servicing have to be at a main dealer to maintain the warranty? as there are no main dealers in or around the Dorset or Hants area
£69k does seem good value.....

Broughtons (Chelt), Harwoods (Chich), Lancaster (Reading) or Grange (Exeter) are your local options!!!
the 75k blue car with the very low mileage, looks cheap relative to others out there. It doesnt have sat nav tho, which seems to be a resale problem even tho there are probably better portable sat nav units than the built in one.
prices seem to be quite varied and mileage sensitive. but my conclusions so far is that you could buy a virtually new one for 80k, 75k will get you a choice of low miles (around 5k) 06 cars from dealers and 70k is probably quite doable buying private for the same. There will also be some supply of coupes as the roadster deliveries start around june, which will no doubt impact prices as there will be a few px's at the dealers.
ps, in terms of warranty extension which is not applicable yet on the V8, is it possible on the db9? if so how much

Certainly not Lancaser!!!. But I did talk to Broughtons in Pangbourne a while back who seemed sure that they could offer some form of Aston servicing (or maybe they meant a drop off point for Cheltenham collection). Never followed up on the discussion though so no more info!

What snags have you had, guys? I have been treated very well by Lancaster as a prospective buyer - obviously no servicing though...
The car in the original post is about right IMO.
On the others, you need to understand the full set of options installed to see if what you're getting's comparable. I have the full price list if you're interested. Small things can make a big difference to "list". Whether they matter to you is up to you (e.g. the SatNav really isn't up to the latest from TomTom. But it looks good - wonder if it can be ripped out, a TTG put in its "well" and the aerial connected...).
The 69k one has the best part of 12k miles on it. Not a problem in terms of the car itself, but as with most premium brands they are sadly mileage sensitive at resale. Again, check options carefully too.
FWIW, the residual on a 3yr car with 10k miles per year is expected to be about 45kGBP.

But only if you're selling! Keep it for longer and it's not an issue. And you were still the first owner of yours, which is nice
Very true, there is no way I am selling her, she is very special even after 1 year, and there is no other car on the road I would sooner be in this side of a Veyron.

harwoods ( chichester ) have a good rep
Seconded, I use them for mine, nice chaps, and a fantastic drive there from most places in the South of England (although one for bad fuel consumption, on my last trip there and back I used nearly 40 litres of fuel, bloody 8mpg! But worth everyone of the C02's)
