Lovely motor Gerry.... and the second Torro from Broughtons in the last few days.
Where are you located. I'm just outside Poole and am toying with an AMV8 from Broughtons as we speak. Great dealership!

Hi Gary, we're in Ringwood.
Are you looking at the the Vertigo blue AMV8?
The buying experience at Broughtons is absolutely superb - great people.

Not the vertigo blue... don't like the blue interior. I'm not looking at a particular car at present although they sent me details of a demonstrator in Titanium Silver and a Mercury car IIRC but ideally would love a Midnight Blue. I used to deal with their Pangbourne office when I lived in that Village and the experience was fab and they told me about the Aston dealership before it went official so have been talking to them on and off for about 2 years now - I keep procrastinating so really need to make a decision and just do it. But a very professional outfit and great to deal with.
Edited to add... may have to join one of your company trips sometime!!

it looks stunning! Toro red really complements the shape of the AMV8 superbly.
Can't disagree with that - thanks for the compliment

Could well be up for that - keep us posted with details - providing the Sat-Nag will get up early on a Sunday

Congratulations - an absolute beauty. Identical colour/spec to mine, except the seat memory. Mines a 56. Toro rocks! Completely agree about Broughtons - simply the best ! Exemplary service from Rachel and co in sales. Maybe a Toro meet sometime?
And yet another man with impeccable taste! A Toro meet sounds good - but how about a luxury weekend break for AMV8's?
Champagne shopping, the Loire, or even somewhere in the UK?
Lovely motor - remember to tell the other half that there's no need to press the 'M' button on the seats to return it to one of the other settings! Memory seats are a waste of time when they keep being chuffing reset.
On the other side of the coin, make sure the other half gets a drive. They'll love it, and perhaps start to "understand"

Excuse me, young man!
Having driven all over Europe in a Sagaris, T350 and a couple of Tuscan's, I think I have already started to "understand"
I can't wait to get behind the wheel, but it seems to be glued to Gerry's hands at the moment!
Hi Gerry
Long time no see/speak.
Like the look of the V8 - A friend has a Vanguish in the same colour - had a few throttle presses at Le Mans and certainly enjoyed the Aston.
Bit of a change in colour for you compared to your previous motors...
Hope to nip up to the AM factory soon (have a good contact there) to have a look around before any firm decision but hear the 07 models are far better than earlier ones.
Will look out for you next time I'm heading east.
Off to enjoy my Italian machine now!
