Seemed like a long wait, counting the months and weeks, finally the days and hours, but picked up the Vantage last Thursday and haven't stopped grinning yet.

Get it in Silver they said, and keep the interior fairly plain - it'll help with the resale value. Yeah right. This car's for me, not the next owner. So it's RED, bright RED, with RED leather and the Cream seats. And I love it !

One week in and my only complaint is that I think I may crack my face if I smile any more.

There's a couple of straights on the way to work where I can blip it to 4800 in second and then third and it just makes me want to laugh out loud. What a sound !!

One problem is that my watch appears to have slowed down. I keep looking at it waiting for home time but it just doesn't seem to get there soon enough. I'm sure the novelty will wear off (in a couple of years maybe)

Undecided on the fuse. If I want noise all the time I can always drive the Sagaris. The beauty of the Aston for me as an everyday car is that it can do both modes.

Working on the pic's but I don't do standing in the rain with a camera. Pray for some sunshine at the weekend.

i saw an orange one recently, have to respect that.

what are the best colours for resale? the meterorite and other greys? black/black seems popular, tho i like the contrast of black/cream.

my persoanl fave is slate blue, is that a goody or a baddy?

Baddy according to the dealer I bought mine from.

Red ones look really good, JCT in Leeds had one in once when I peered through the window - a great choice. Surely if you want it new, there may well be someone who will want it secondhand later - just may not find them as quickly.
