....and am very happy.

Apart from two things:-

1. Bloody annoying rattle from what appears to be the parcel shelf.

2. Loads of condensation on the inside of both headlamps.

Anyone else had these issues and what was the cure.

Apart from those small things I'm bounce

Both are known as very common issues with the V8.

My 'parcel shelf' thingy definitely doesn't rattle but you could try lifting it out and re-siting it?

I get the condensation but it doesn't bother me, seems to go after its been back in the garage for a while, its that damp time of year!

Yep, mine condensate up as well, but does seem to clear after awhile.

I've also got a rattle from the rear, but think it is where the plastic meets the leather on the rear strut.

There is a fix for the condensation... Aston drill a small hole at the bottom of the plastic screen and fit a gromet (I've heard)

Wallace.

I had to do this a few years back with an FTO (Not in same league I know) & it worked a treat.

PS I hope one day I will be able to have this problem as I dream of owning an AMV8.

As for the parcel shelf, I haven't heard of a fix.

But for headlights, as GetCarter suggested, I have heard that a few dealerships have drilled a drain hole.

I get mine in a few weeks and can comment further at that point.
I'm 100% sure, I will drive my dealership nuts.

hehe

I will too.

However, I did tell them prior to purchase that I didn't do rattles. This is the worst rattle I have ever experienced so will be fixed.

Also, the preparation of the vehicle was ing dire.

Words will be had on Monday morning.

I'm going through this early stage snagging, too, and it's driving me nuts. After so many TVRs I thought I'd be used to it, but this is even worse (especially because of the price tag).

I've had rattles, off-centre steering wheel, squeeling belt, faulty sat nav, condensated headlights and more... And the dealer's had it in to get it fixed but it just keeps coming back with the same faults (the squeeling belt four times now).

The car's great in many ways (especially now I've pulled the butterfly valve fuse), but it's also trying my patience. Or rather, I can tolerate the snags, but I want solutions instead of loads of hassle going back and forth with the same issues...

My parcel shelf has a LOT of foam underneath it and doesn't rattle. Learn to live with the condensation, it happens and goes away when you have the lights on. In Canada this is all the time because we have a day time lights on law.

Apparently my dealer said they dont do this any more, as there is a Goretex membrane that lets the moisture past in the V8 and the DB9. My lights used to fog and not clear even when the lights were on for a while, so they replaced both light clusters, now the fog but soon clear.
