I know its been posted many times before but has anyone had a decent quote/renewal on a V8 Vantage (modern) recently?

My renewal has just come through at £950 from Adrian Flux, pretty good but just checking...!

I just paid £1500 with 0% no claims discount.

Good work. So assuming a potential 60% discount with max NCD, that could have taken it down to about £700. Who was that with please?

So it's the March 06 delivery guys phoning up for insurance then! I have managed £850 with A Plan (or £893 with Adrain Flux) for my renewal, this is down £500 from the best quote last year....great stuff!

I'm curious here.

I was quoted £1160'ish from A-plan.

9 Years NCB, garaged overnight, safe postcode in the country.

Mmmmmm.

All looks that way, I was with Groupama at Adrian Flux and its good cover, mind you AF have promised in their renewal blurb to beat ANY other quote that I get......

Sounds strange, very similar to my criteria, garaged in Herts & 7years NCB, mileage limited to 5k. I have sneaked over 40 now though, that could be it?

I just checked the policy again, the cost is £1209 with zero NCD, restricted mileage, £750 excess, garaged overnight. I am 42 and have 2 other cars.

I reckon that is as cheap as chips, with 65% NCD the cost would be £423! Are they mad??!

That is excellent.

I called Adrian Flux back as they sent me this 'price promise' thing, they have beaten A Plan albeit only by a tenner but it means that I don't have to send all my Tracker, alarm and NCB stuff off again. Very friendly and helpful at A Plan though.

Mind you this is with max (7 years) NCB, limited mileage, two motorbikes and access to two other cars (registered in my girlfriends name), but I don't know if that puts the premium up or down? I'm always a bit cagey when they ask that question!
