You say stoneguards....

I can get you a pic tomorrow off my dads if you can wait. If your trying to decide whether to get them or not i'd definatly advise getting them, my dads first V8 was absolutly covered in stone chips on the rear arches after only a few thousand miles. So bad Aston even resprayed the whole car in the end.

Crikey, must have been bad, what colour what was it? I can wait until tomorrow, no problem. Thanks Joe.

..... I say mudflaps.
Has anyone got a picture they can post (or take one for it to be posted) of the 'stoneguards' in situ? I am keen to see them before I buy a pair and haven't had time to get to the dealers.
Would be very grateful, ta.

I remember reading a thread on the AMOC (www.amoc.org) forum about this matter, somebody had posted some images.
Search "Stone Guards - Yes or No???" under the New Era.
DO IT, the best £50 I have ever spent, you can see how well they work in mucky weather, cr^p does not come over the standard plastic protection film. Once in place you will not notice them.. I have not sorted a website to host my pikkies on, but you can just about make out the mudflaps on the pikkes Shady took of my car recently, on this post www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=2&f=70&t=350053&h=0
I just called my dealer and they posted them to me direct from the supplier and I fitted them in 20 mins, newer cars the holes are already there, on the older cars you have to drill the wheel lining, but it is easy..

Top work Joe, thankyou, you even went out in the rain for us!
They'll be even less noticable on my tungsten car I imagine.
Thanks again.

Have them on my Tungsten car which I picked up at the weekend and you don't notice them at all. I wasn't sure about fitting them as no car in the showroom had them but dealer convinced me that they are worth it and fitted for nothing.

Thanks Frostie, I'm off to the dealers on Saturday.
