Had a blast with an M3 earlier on today, going all out from about 60ish to xxxish.
Still grinning ear to ear
He had the jump on me to start with, but once I downshifted we were away, until I chose 3rd instead of 5th!
from 60ish to various speeds, then back down to 60 and back up again.
Overtook the M3 flat out in 5th, I would have loved to have been in the BM for that particular moment just to hear the V8 roar past!
Sad I know, but has made my miserable day a brighter one!

The V8V is definitely quicker than the M3, quite a bit more torquey across the rev range aswell, as would be expected from it's greater capacity V8. Must've been a pleasure being in the M3 being overtaken Reminds me of the time I test drove an F355, dropped two cogs and overtook some chap... I actually wished I was in his car for that, what a treat!
