Hi guys
When I put my car in for its service, I asked my dealer to pull fuse 22, or to do whatever is necessary to keep the exhaust valve open. They said they didn't know anything about it, and asked where I'd heard about it...
Anyway, I thought no worries, I'll just pull it myself. So I whipped it out this morning and... the engine wouldn't start. Well, that's not strictly true. It starts, revs to about 2,000 rpm and then cut off. I can give it some throttle to get it up to about 4,000 rpm and defer the drop off, but ultimately it's the same every time. The fuse I took out is described in the manual as: 'F22 - Mass airflow sensor (LH and RH)'.
Of course, I popped it back in and all is well. Still, I'd like to keep the butterfly valve thing open to experience the full joys of its roar. Any ideas? Did I do something wrong, or doesn't this apply to late 2006 AMV8s?
Cheers, Matty

Wrong fuse, you need the F22 out the rear fuse box, sounds like you removed F22 out of the engine bay

They must be the only Aston dealers in the known universe that don't know about it. The main Aston works at Gaydon told me about it! (Although they told me not to tell anyone... yea right )
