Saw the new Four Seater Rapide at the factory last week. I must admit I didn't think that it was possible for AM to make an ugly car anymore but they've come close IMO!

Just to provide a different point of view, I saw it at the factory and I thought it was a million miles from 'ugly'.

I did actually say 'close'. To me I thought it OK from directly behind or in front but it looked horribly stretched and a bit 'saggy' in the middle. Almost as if the design boys hearts weren't in it and they just said "we'll just sort of stretch one, and to hell with the proportions". I suppose I was dissappointed given that the DB9 and V8 in particular are such stunning pieces of design. I'm sure it'll sell well and end up in a lot of premiership club car parks though! Not my cup of charr I'm afraid.

I was more taken aback by the interior more than anything.

I know you said close, and you also said your opinion, ergo I wouldn't argue the point with you, as we are all entitled to our own opinions

I just feel differently, although I can see where you are coming from

I saw it at the Geneva show last year and thought it was one of the most beautiful man-made creations I'd ever clapped eyes upon.
