Hello,

how many of the DBS is Aston Martin going to build? Some sources say that only 300 cars will be built, some other sources say 300 cars each year? Which is true now?

I´ve read in some place that it would be 300 per year...not limited.

I'm interested to know how many Vanquish have been built - particularly in right hand drive and also if, when production ends (this Year I've heard), whether there will be another true Newport Pagnell Aston.

Anyone know?

When the Vanquish production is stopped then all car production at Newport Pagnall will stop.

The south side of the road- ie the manufacturing facility will be sold, probably as housing. The north side will continue as a service centre (at least until the new home owners compaine about the noise, the working hours etc...)

All production will focus on Gaydon, with V8 Vantage, DB9 and Rapide production. I believe the DBS will only be 300 in total- with the V8 Vantage, Volante, DB9 and Volante, plus Rapide and faster versions of the above, it should be enough to tempt a new owner...

...who will probably then design a "lifestyle" off-road with a Diesel engine and four doors, to capture that "vital" frugal Cayenne market. Oh the shame...

Why only build 300, for pity's sake. I want to buy one second hand one day!!
