2007 V8 Coupe to be upgraded to Roadster spec..?

I see from the Roadster press pics that there have been some small upgrades, such as the addition of steering wheel audio controls and so on. Anyone know if this will be migrated back to the Coupe? My dealer is clueless.

Are you sure you did not see the Bluetooth and/or Cruise Control buttons?

The cruise control buttons are on the right, as per the Coupe. But on the left are a new set of buttons, which look like phone controls and audio controls.

No, definitely the Bluetooth controls as per my Coupe. They have no control over the stereo.

I think those buttons destroy the whole look of the steering wheel!!
I know that lots of people don’t like the look of the steering wheels, but I really like it.
Just without the buttons. But I'd spec it anyway without a cruise control. I just did an 800 miles trip to Paris and back in my old Volvo and I never felt I need a cruise control.

Yep, the Bluetooth steering wheel buttons are just for the phone loudness - really annoying IMHO. The Jag courtesy car the AM garage gave me the other day, had the same phone buttons on the wheel (they're Jag buttons), but these did control the stereo volume Which makes it even more annoying!

I still find it funny that on a car of this price you don't get remote audio controls... something that's been standard for years on say an M3 for half the price!

yeah it is annoying.

But it tends to be the same with most lowish volume producers of cars.
