What did I see?

I was travelling on the M25 last Sunday at about 1500h when I saw two Aston Martins in the outside lane, both in a darkish metallic red colour and '56' reg (I can't remember the prefix but both were the same and may have been KF). The first was an AMV8 and the second was what appeared to be a DB9 but had two massive spotlights mounted on the front above the bonnet. When it passed by there was a large computer screen (probably about 17'') on the front passenger seat angled towards the driver. Was this a car in development?

Juts wondering if anyone had an idea of what I saw?

It was definitely a DB9 of some sort. Perhaps it was the first replica Aston based on the MR2 and the chav tat had not been completely removed!
