Out of interest, where in the back is the fuse back with infamous fuse 22?

Had a quick look, and on the right in the back is a little area with a load of wiring, but nothing that looked obviously like a fuse box?

Car didnt come with a manual either so cant look there

Any help greatly appreciated

Help is at hand thanks to Pikey

Fuse box is behind the panel inside the right hand side of the boot.

What you should have is a bottle at the top, undo the velcro and that will come out. Then there is a box in the middle (the compressor) there's some velcro on that as well and that will slide out leaving you with access to the fusebox at the bottom. Pull fuse 22 (it's a yellow one) the numbers are in the plastic next to the fuse - not easy to see. Then put everything back together!

BTW I was just wondering, who had the idea with the fuse 22?? For almost a year everybody pulls out this fuse but who told the first bloke? Aston? Accidentally?

stops the butterfly valves in the exhaust from working, so they are always open, thus making the car much louder between 0 - 3000 rpm

Aston told me about it BTW

You are going to need a Porsce driver to supply you with the relevant "fuse pulling" device though. Bloody Germans

Just used some needle nosed pliers...

Sound is bloody ridiculous.. So much so, that I was pulled after a set of traffic lights for pulling away aggresively. Scariest moment of my life as I see blue lights in the distance, hoping to god they aren't for me. Pull in to let him pass, but he pulls in behind me.

Never felt so sick in my life - fortunately, a stiff bollocking only. Got home, and put the fuse back!

P'ah! Last I heard there wasn't a law against pulling away aggresively!

Now go and get that fuse out and throw it in the bin!

Is there any change in performance as a result in doing this?

It does give slightly more power below 4.5k (verified by an Aston technician) as the exhaust is free flowing, but I doubt you would notice much difference!

soapbox Of course had you just been burgling some ones house they wouldn't have pulled you over, it may infringe your human rights by insinuating that all those good were stolen by you!

cop"Lets see we have you CCTV breaking into the house, you have the stolen goods in your boot, but you say it wasn't you & they were put there by a friend. I see, it could be tricky to actually prove you stole the goods, these days CCTV & 3 witnesses aren't enough, best just apologise for troubling you & let you go before we have to do lots of paperwork. NO DOUBT AFTER BEING TRAUMATISED by the police interview, said burgler will be able to claim more dole money by claiming he was a victim of police harrasmentrage"
"Now had you been speeding mate, you could have expected the book, points & fines to be thrown at youbanghead",

I APOLOGISE, it's dark wet winters day............Rant over!
