Hi there,
Just had my boss on the phone to say she's being given a db9 for an anniversary present, which is nice (if slightly galling!). She has no idea what a DB9 is like (not that I do), but she likes how they look, and as a brit in the US, how they are so british.
She called to ask me what spec she should go for etc, and i have no idea about options or any of that stuff, so i thought i'd turn it over to those who know. As you might have guessed from the size of the anniversary present, resale value isn't much of a concern, but she wants to know what to spec, and i haven't a clue what can be specced etc. She's going test-driving on Saturday, and I sadly won't be around to help out(!), so it'd be nice to hand her a print-off from here with desireable option etc.
She has a Cayenne Turbo S which appears to have every option box ticked, but i'm not sure that's the thing to do on a DB9, so i'd love your opinions to help me help her!
Thanks

PS I searched the forum but couldn't find anything definitive, so sorry if there is a list i've missed

EDITED TO ADD: She actually said 'DB9 S thing' on the phone, so it could be a DBS, if those are available, or at least order-able in the US, so advice from people on those (if available) would be great.

no, so i'm guessing the DBS isn't out in the foreseeable future?!

Okay, revert to the original question, what are the essential options for a db9 - stuff you wish you had on yours/can't live without?

The reason for the length of the original post was so that some background digging (ie a look at my profile) wouldn't result in a instant call of liar! Like i said, it's for my boss, it's an image-led purchase, but she asked me to find out what was worth having on it

It really depends on her needs, since she seemingly knows very little about the car, I presume she'd go for style over performance modifications?

See this thread, it overlaps with the DB9

I'd recommend GPS and heated front screen for practicality. She may wish to go for the bright grill, parking sensors, heated seats etc.

HTH.
