Pulled on to a surprisingly quiet A12 this morning at Chelmsford following a rather lovely 997. He overtook a lorry in the slow lane so thought I would follow to drink in the loveliness of his car a little longer (only got a lowly MX-5). Checked my mirrors, nothing behind apart from a tiny dot in the fast lane so indicated and pulled out to overtake the lorry. Checked my mirror again and it was absolutely FULL of AM Vantage!

Accelerated as hard as my poor little car would let me and pulled back in in front of the lorry still under full acceleration at about 90 leptons, and the Vantage just blasted past me. Don't know how fast he had been travelling before I got in the way but must have been 'pressing on'!
So, if it was anyone on here going past Chelmsford at about 8:10, and you were baulked by a blue MX with a PH sticker, please accept my apologies - I'd expect it on the Autobahn but not the A12!
