Condensation in the front lights of a V8 VANTAGE
A mate of mine has just bought a new V8 Vantage (the mini DB9, sure it's called that). He is suffering from significant condensation in his front headlights. Is this a normal Aston thing, has anyone else experienced this????
Many thanks.
It is known to happen, but if it's really bad there are some things the dealer can do to reduce it.

If it's a similiar cause as on the Jag XK8 it's a fairly simple fix. The dealer will basically drill a small hole at the bottom of the cluster and insert a little rubber gromit. This should allow enough air in to get rid of the condensation.
Was at a meet the other day with 15 or so other AMV8's, it was quite a warm day after a moist spell and I noticed that a good 75% of the Vantages there had a small about of condensation in the front lights, so I guess it is fairly common.
Yep, condensation inside is a well know AM trait. Had it on all mine back to the DB7 straight six.
Like Phil says, they is a remedy, but to be honest it has never really bothered me.
