Hi all!
TVR and Posrsche convert here!

Am taking delivery of my 1st Aston tomorrow.

DB7 Vantage coupe i Grigio Titanio. 2001 20000miles. A beut!

Many thanks to everyone on Piston heads for their postings over the last 6months.

What an invaluable site for helping find out the in/outs, up and downs of various aspects of Aston ownership.

Well, the garage is all painted!... a fetching Claret red floor with white walls.(my wife says "Your bl***y nesting!".
I ve even put up framed photos of me on my various track days, and a signed picture of Connery's Casino Royale Aston on the walls, just to make her feel at home when she arrives!

Someone tell me please that I'm not a p***s, but actually I'm just experiencing a normal and fully explainable series of emotions one gets in the lead up to taking ownership of arguably one of the most evocative car marques ever to have existed!

Would welcome your thoughts (I'm lying on the Shrinks couch!)

"tell me please that I'm not a p***s"

Well, you are, but that's perfectly normal when you own an Aston cloud9

If I could, I would, you are most definately not a p****s in my eyes

However, my wife does say I am rather obsessive about cars rofl

However, I thought David Niven did the original Casino Royale ?

Perfectly normal behavior. Don't forget the floor lighting, it shows off the lines beautifully.
