Aston's DBS caught naked
No disguising the DBS's aggressive design
Looks like James Bond’s new Aston’s been caught out in the open.
US publication Car & Driver’s photo shows the Aston Martin DBS without disguise looking aggressive, with a deep front air-dam, a diffuser at the rear and side skirts. A powerbulge plus vents in the bonnet are visible too, as is the pure line of the car’s haunches.
It’s another stunner, by the looks of things...

There's some footage of it in the Casino Royale trailer...

Im sorry but a suped up DB9 will never be a decent replacement for the Vanquish... I wouldnt have had a problem if it were just an exclusive DB9 variant but if this is as they say - a replacement for the Vanquish - Im not impressed Aston
The Vanquish is one the best, most powerful looking cars of this era IMO and has a charm that the DB9 doesnt quite match... even with new bumpers and side skirts
I never thought Id be sayin it but, I think Im ready now to put Aston right there with Porsche with their lazy designers - as JC puts it... ...how could they kill off the Vanquish!?

can you get an Aston Martin spotting guide that explains the difference between anything they've done since the DB7? They all look very very nice, but that is because they all look exactly the same. Never in my entire life as a petrolhead have I struggled so hard to tell the difference between any manufacturers model line up!

For the first time since launch of the Vanquish I'm not excited by an AM design. The body kit looks just way too aftermarket for my taste, degrading the car from gentleman to boy racer... I hope it looks better in the flesh.
2nded. Couldn't have made it look anymore boy racer if they tried.
They should learn a thing or two from whoever turned the xk8 into the xkr, that was tastefully done.
Oh well, I'm sure 50cent will love it.
Every now and then a car comes along that simply inspires you, you start thinking about re-mortgaging, getting promoted at work, everything you can think of just to be able to afford one. You know that one day you'll be able to afford one, but you want one now so much it hurts. The Aston DBS is one of those cars to me. I have'nt felt like this since I saw a Ford GT - one day, I just know I'll have one that I can call mine.

I'll give you a clue, the DB9 is a saloon, the vantage is a hatchback...

so as long as I get close enough to study the boot shut lines and remember the hint, I should be fine then?
Now how about the DB9, Vanquish, AMV8 and whatever else they have made since the DBY - admittedly, you can tell from the 'smallness' of the AMV8, but if one caned past at speed, I'd still struggle
