Warranty/Inspection

Morning all!!

Just a quick question.

I am interested in a DB7 Vantage but am a little concenred about spending that amount of money on a car that I dont know anything about.

Seems very clean and from my totally un expert opinon looks to be well looked after and in good condition. 02 model with 9 services since new.

The small dealer that is selling it has said he will get a 101 point inspection done for me and a 'gold' warranty put on the car. Experience tells me that these warranties can be not worth the paper they are printed on but the dealer assures me it is a good one??

So is there anything that I should be looking for and who could I get to do a real inspection on the car and get a 'real' warranty (if you think its worth it??).

Only person i would trust is Rikki Cann. He does quite a few inspections

Ricki caan inspected a DB7 I bought privately. Did a superb job, and picked up items that had gone unnoticed in previous services.

Thoroughly recommended, and does know DB7's extremely well.

Dr Vantage for V8s but for DB 7s as well!

An expert closer to you may be RS Williams in Cobham. Very impressive history and the guys who develop all the race technology.
