'Bob Smith awoke that frosty morning and went outside to check on his pride and joy, but something was amiss that day, it took a while before he could put his finger on it, and then he suddenly realised; some bugger had nicked his wheels!'

It looks very naked without its 4 wheels.

I remember walking out of the house the morning after dad had had his wheels pinched (not an Aston I must point out..)

Continued on my merry way to school!

Did much the same thing when the car got stolen as well actually.. Amazing as it was a Volvo 850 estate!

Dad did have to do a double take to realise that there was something missing from his car!

I guess he can be thankful that it's balancing on blocks as opposed to being dropped on the floor!

Quick don't tell Aston or those blocks will appear as an option "exclusive anti flat-spot devices for your wheels, complete with the moulded Aston wing devices in the concrete. £5,495 each..."

It could be a little rogue marketing by AM. Proving that the DB9 has the perfect 50:50 weight disribution !

i remember seeing these pics in TG magazine a little while back. think the car belonged to a bloke in New Zealand and he'd only had it a few weeks! "keep a look out on E-bay for any New Zealanders looking for a quick sale on DB9 wheels, chances are it'll be the guy who pinched these ones"!

Yep was somewhere up by Auckland I think (north shore?)..

There must be almost a dozzen DB9's in NZ so a huge market for the alloys. Theres one new XK8 in Christchurch that I know of, cant be many in the country at all.

Stupid theft, hardly going to be resellable, prob on some old knackered nissan by now

8pack the pick is from New Zealand, we dont have novas.

Just take any mid sized junk old Jappa saloon and add exhaust and shinney wheels will do.

Why have a nova when you can drive 300bhp scoobs at 15 with no insurance... And they dont cost much either.
