When I got my AMV8, I ordered the personalised sill plates. The trouble is that they don't give you an alternate pair of non-personalised ones. That means when it's time to sell the car, I have to either buy a new pair or just take them off - neither is a good solution.

I called the dealer and they asked for £165+VAT for some standard ones...any ideas what to do?

Im sure aston can sell you a spare set of blank sill covers -- would be worth having for when you sell. Then you can change them over then and keep yours.

That's the downside of making your car bespoke I guess. It's only personal to you.
