...and looks. And desirability, and knicker elastic snapping ability, and electronic reliabiltiy.

Still, it should be a big crowd: there is certianly enough of them now....

There is always the Porsche Club bash at Eynsham Hall 26th & 27th of August, that would put the cat amongst the pigeons & show them what a really good looking car is about!

"Ex Porsche owning AMV8 owners gate crash Porsche party!"

Now c'mon boys'n'girls play nicely.

If Shady wants a new toy party then that's ok. Old toy owners should arrange one of their own.

Ah ha, I knew they'd capitulate. As soon as I threatened to wear my blazer and write a stronly worded letter to the telegraph...

Great stuff. I'm in as well. Shall us older Aston owners have a seperate meeting beforehand, and then converge with the moderns somewhere?

Are tweed jackets de riguer? And aren't the new Vantages built as a standard set with options? Not quite bespoke.

Rich, you are da man

Anybody notice a trend that when the AMV8 is mentioned, all the old V8 owners jump out of their mothballs to start knocking it ??? In fact, the only people I see having a pop at the new AMV8, don't even own one........go figure ?!?!?!?

Shady, will a megaphone be provided for Rich ?
